Our Story
The first agricultural cooperative born in Piedmont
Corneliana is the first agricultural cooperative founded in Piedmont in the 1960s. An innovative reality from the very beginning, it has known how to renew itself over the years while always respecting the peasant tradition. The cooperative places at its centre the precious work of people — now in their third generation of families working together.
Their work combines a love of the land, the environment, and the quality of life of human beings, animals, and plants.
Corneliana is located along the Po hills, cultivating land that stretches from the hillside all the way down to the Po river, offering a truly unique and little-known change of landscape and nature.
Just 30 km from Turin, bordering the province of Asti and conveniently served by the nearby exit of the Turin-Milan motorway, it is the ideal destination for a day trip or a relaxing weekend in the hills.
Our Activities
What we do
AGRICULTURE
We cultivate approximately 300 hectares of land: cereals such as soft wheat, barley and maize on the plains, forage crops on the hillsides, and seasonal vegetables near the farm headquarters.
LIVESTOCK
Free-roaming around the farm are Piedmontese cattle and calves of high pedigree, donkeys, mules, horses, ponies, and two specimens of Scottish Highland cattle.
EDUCATIONAL FARM
We are an accredited farm in the regional network of Educational Farms of the Piedmont Region. We offer guided visits, animal interaction, vegetable picking, and pizza-making workshops for children.
HORSE RIDING
Visitors can ride our ponies and take part in guided equestrian activities. A unique experience immersed in the nature of the Po hills, suitable for both adults and children.
AGRITOURISM
During 2026 Corneliana will offer the possibility to stay at its agritourism, currently under renovation. Enjoy the tranquillity of nature with animals grazing all around you.
EXCURSIONS
From the farm you can explore the surrounding area, including the archaeological treasure of the ancient Roman city of Industria and the spectacular natural landscapes of the Po hills.
